In the future, the relationship between us - as urban decision-makers, designers, experiencers, and observers - and urban space will undergo profound transformation. The "Quantum Space" exhibition aims to present several new possibilities brought by digital technology, artificial intelligence, and human-factor technologies:
We make decisions through experience, as demonstrated in "Quantum Lilong," where high-fidelity immersive digital environments allow for simultaneous comparison of design options and collection of public feedback;
We make decisions through observation, as seen in "Quantum Gallery," where four installations by invited design teams are linked to real-time decision visualizations through active or passive behavioral data collection;
We experience through designing, and design through experiencing - shown in "Quantum Garden," where generative AI enables each person to create personalized designs based on spatial interaction;
Urban space will also become more intelligent and human-centric, capturing traces of daily life to "understand" user profiles and thus provide higher-quality built environment.
